Pediatric Cardiology Research

This is where it all started… the Holtz Children’s Hospital, where our daughter, Mary Elizabeth (M.E.) had life-saving heart

surgery.  We are forever grateful for the doctors and nurses from the University of Miami who cared for M.E.  We proudly support their efforts in pediatric cardiology research.

The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Children’s Heart Center (CHC), located at Holtz Children’s Hospital, is an internationally respected center for the comprehensive care of children and adults with congenital and acquired heart disease that follows thousands of patients from South Florida and beyond. As faculty members of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, our specialists are at the forefront of ground- breaking medical research.

The CHC is the only full service program in South Florida that provides the full spectrum of congenital cardiovascular care from the fetus through to adult survivors with congenital disease at its adult congenital heart center. CHC’s expertise goes beyond the practice of general pediatric cardiology and extends to all subspecialty fields including catheter based interventions, heart failure, transplant and electrophysiology.
